About James Latham
James graduated from a 5 year full-time program of a Bachelor of Health Science (B.H.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.App.Sc(Osteo)) at RMIT in Melbourne, Australia. He has since worked in Sydney 1.5 years under two osteopaths totalling 50 years experience, and is now relocating to Vancouver to gain more experience in life and Osteopathy.
James has an interest in the biomechanical dysfunctions that occurs from our sedentary lifestyles that cause both acute and chronic pain in all ages, and the link between our physical and mental health. James develops patient specific treatment protocols that focus on engaging the body’s natural healing mechanisms through a variety of different techniques in order to achieve the best results.
James is experienced and has success with a variety of musculo-skeletal conditions (acute or chronic) including:
- Lower back pain
- Upper back/neck pain
- Rib pain
- Jaw dysfunctions
- Shoulder, knee and hip pain
- Wrist, hand, ankle and foot pain
- Neurological issues
- Muscle strains/tears
